Actor Jung Il Woo Gets Injured at the Filming Location of ‘Highway Family’
Actor Jung Il Woo is reportedly injured on the set of the film ‘Highway Family’.
This was announced directly through an official statement released by 9ato Entertainment on Friday (05/11).
The agency stated, “Jung Il Woo suffered an injury to his retina during filming and is currently resting after receiving treatment. Fortunately, his eye injury is not serious, so he will soon resume filming after treatment and rest. He is currently in the recovery phase.”
‘Highway Family’ tells the story of an accidental encounter between a family who goes camping at a highway stop and a married couple who helps them. The film depicts warm affection, trust and hope among people even in difficult times. Besides Jung Il Woo, this film stars Ra Mi Ran, Kim Seul Gi, and Baek Hyun Jin.
The film ‘Highway Family’ is directed and written by rookie director Lee Sang Moon, who has worked as an assistant director on ‘Young Adult Matters’ and ‘The Bacchus Lady’. The film is slated to be released in 2022.
