Lipsync is a serious problem in the K-Pop industry, where some groups have been criticized for doing it while performing on stage. Recently ATEEZ was asked if they lipsync or not, and gave their honest answer.

Since debuting in 2018, ATEEZ has been gaining attention not only for their stunning visuals, but also for their undeniable talent on stage in terms of performance.

In the past, idols were known to lipsync to focus on their appearance. But ATEEZ always perform live, showing how stable their vocals are.

Even though ATEEZ is constantly proving how good their vocals are, some netizens still believe that they don’t sing live. They recently sat down with WIRED and answered some of the most asked questions on the internet, including lipsync issues.

One of the questions was, “Does ATEEZ lipsync?” Not surprisingly, Hongjoong as the leader seemed amused by the question.

Hongjoong gave that question to ATEEZ’s oldest member, Seonghwa. As expected, he had a firm answer. “We can proudly say that 100 percent of our performances are sung live,” he said.

Hongjoong then turned his question to Yunho, asking, “Yunho, did you lipsync?” The member who was asked immediately answered, “No!” He even joked that he tends to lipsync on stage like during interviews, which is impossible.

ATINY likes the answers from the members who are happy to prove that they never lipsync. Even on Twitter, ATINY finds it funny to think that people are still doubting ATEEZ’s vocals.
