Red Velvet Releases First Japanese Album, ReVeluvs Welcomes Enthusiastically

Red Velvet will release its first full album in Japan on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. The news was announced by the SM Entertainment label which houses the five-member girl group on Tuesday (5/4/2022).

Red Velvet’s Japanese Long Play (LP) entitled ‘Bloom’ consists of 11 songs, including the title song ‘Wildside. The song contains a message to support those who never give up in reaching their goals.

New songs in Japanese, such as “Jackpot,” “Snap Snap” and “Color of Love,” will also be included.

Previously, Red Velvet had released a mini album entitled “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm” on March 21. The album topped iTunes’ top album charts in 41 territories as well as music chart scores.

Meanwhile, the main vocalist, Wendy, tested positive for COVID-19 last week and was forced to cancel all activities, including the fan meeting.
