Nayeon Appears As Guest On Comedian Lee Yong Jin’s YouTube Show At ‘Yongjin’s Health Center.’ The Idol Is Honest About His Real Personality, And The Pressure He Feels About It.

TWICE’s Nayeon opened up about how shy she is in real life, and how it was a loss for her career in the K-Pop industry.

Nayeon recently made her successful solo debut with the album “IM NAYEON.” Nayeon revealed that she struggled to overcome her mental barriers while recording the album.

Luckily, the TWICE members were there to fully support her, so Nayeon was finally able to release an album she was proud of. But the pressure of recording and promoting alone is still felt.

Nayeon appeared as a guest on comedian Lee Yong Jin’s YouTube show on “Yongjin’s Health Center.” The idol is honest about his true personality, and the pressure he feels related to it.

Nayeon stated that she is actually a very shy person in real life. It’s just that it hasn’t really bothered him much in the past because he’s always with people he feels comfortable with.

Now that he’s promoting alone, however, it puts even more pressure on him. For example, Nayeon feels depressed because of her shyness which often causes her to be misunderstood.

While other people’s opinions of her aren’t always a big concern for Nayeon, her shyness makes it difficult to be in new surroundings with people she’s never met.

This is especially a concern in situations like fansigns. Nayeon claims small talk is very difficult for her. “I really only ask about things that make me curious,” said the 1995-born idol.

Nayeon is actually a very warm person who is always happy to answer questions. It’s just that he feels shy so he is often misunderstood as cold or indifferent. (wk/chus)
