MBC Receives Much Criticism After Allegingly Treating Ningning And Giselle Badly When Aespa Appeared On ‘Omniscient Interfering View’ Or ‘The Manager’. What’s the Full Story Like?

Recently aespa appeared on MBC entertainment program “Omniscient Interfering View” or also known as “The Manager”. After the program aired, some fans criticized MBC for treating Ningning and Giselle badly.

In accordance with the concept of the event, in this program AESPA displays their daily life to fans. Starting from activities as an ordinary girl to her routine as a popular K-Pop idol.

Everything went smoothly until the production team mislabeled the members. In the behind-the-scenes video for the performance of their new song “Girls”, MBC named Winter as the group’s main vocalist, even though the position belongs to Ningning.

Although the members have impressive abilities, they debuted in different positions. Starting from the main vocalist, main rapper to the main dancer.

Unfortunately Ningning wasn’t the only member who was allegedly mistreated. MBC is also considered negligent for not including Giselle’s face in one of the thumbnails of this show.

Finally, there were many fans who were frustrated and accused MBC of treating foreign members badly. Since there are only four members, fans think that it shouldn’t be difficult for MBC to write the exact position and include pictures of all the members in the thumbnails.

“It’s not like they have 10 members which is hard to put in one frame, even 4 so what’s so hard about putting photos of all the members in thumbnails?” said another netizen. “I’m angry but not surprised, because they are always treated like this. I’m very frustrated with the treatment Giselle has received,” concluded other netizens and many more.

Meanwhile, AESPA has just made a comeback by releasing the mini album “Girls” with the title track of the same name. “Girls” is a dance song with a strong swaying bass and a harsh synth sound, making it sound so addictive.

Not long ago aespa also appeared on the United States talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. There, they met Hollywood’s top actress-singer Paris Hilton. (wk/eval)
