This quaint café is the perfect chill hangout spot to either get some work done or for a fulfilling chit chat session with loved ones.

They serve Asian-western fusion food, desserts and a wide selection of yummy café drinks. It’s a spacious spot with plenty of indoor seating or better yet, enjoy some sun by sitting at their patio area!

This is a newly opened bakehouse located off Old Klang Road that’s the current talk of the town. Come here for their well crafted cold brews and atas style pastries. If you’re still hungry, we suggest ordering a pasta dish from their menu.

SunSan Bake gets plenty of natural lighting thanks to their ceiling to floor windows so best believe you’ll get crisp well lit photos here!

If you’re looking for an extra cozy, unique and hip spot then your search comes to an end here… We are OBSSESED with this smol, cute and comfy café located around Gombak/Setapak area.

‘Sehidang Kopi & Buku’ is also a bookstore that mainly serves your traditional café drinks like coffee, iced chocolate, matcha lattes and light bites like cakes and toasts. It’s a great spot for you to get some work done or read a book as you sip on their drinks.

The owner of this café has been living at Kampung Padang Balang his whole life and decided to open his very own home-based book café here. So book lovers, what are you waiting for?

Kalico Coffee is a hidden pet-friendly café tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood in Titiwangsa. Located in a spacious bungalow house, this spot gives off nostalgic homey feels that’s sure to calm any restless soul.

They serve typical café food and drinks with a Malaysian touch, so you get options like Nasi Lemak or a Chicken Hummus Panini.

RGB Coffee has been around for awhile and is a reliable, well-loved café for residents in the Wangsa Maju-Ampang area. It’s also pet-friendly! There’s plenty of greenery around, contrasting the concrete jungle towering around the café.

As the café opens as early as 8am, we suggest coming here for a hearty breakfast as you enjoy some fresh air in their outdoor seating area. They serve a wide range of food, desserts and café drinks with vegan-friendly options so there’s definitely something here for everyone!

If you’re tired of all the generic café food, Hening restaurant offers authentic local Malay cuisine with flavours that pack a PUNCH. You’ll definitely be getting comforting food that tantalizes the tastebuds with options like Ikan Pekasam Utara, Ulam, Lontong Johor, Satay, Sambal Belacan and more Kampung style dishes.

This family friendly restaurant is great for large gatherings but make sure to make a reservation before going!

If you’re looking to impress a new date then we highly recommend this cool café hidden in Bangsar. The aesthetic of this beautiful home turned café is truly eclectic and quirky, every corner makes for an Instagram worthy picture!

We highly suggest coming here for their yummy desserts and café drinks, and if you love chocolate with strawberry – consider trying out their decadent Chocolate Strawberry Mousse.

For a luxurious experience, consider eating at Bunglow37, a restored colonial bungalow built in the 50s that’s also located in Bangsar. They can host large groups or private dinner parties and serve European, Asian cuisine.

This restaurant also opens till late so you can get in some fun cocktails to end the night with!

10. D’Culture Café 

Out of all the bungalows we’ve listed, this one has got to be one of the most beautifully built ones. Just checkout the pretty walkway leading to the bungalow’s main door!

D’Culture Café is one of Ampang’s secrets and it serves delicious local dishes with a variety of café drinks. We love the addition of a glasshouse located at the back of the bungalow, a perfect spot to soak up some vitamin D as you munch and sip.
