The Little Lost Monkey Spotted at KLIA Has Been Rescued & Released by Perhilitan
Foreigners and tourists who come to Malaysia are often times treated to sightings of our wildlife like monkeys at tourists spots such as Batu Caves and more.
But no one excepted to see a monkey as soon as they arrived at the airport!
Malaysia Airports took to their Facebook page to showcase a little monkey that managed to find its way into Terminal 1 of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
They wrote, “Poor buddy! Must be feeling completely overwhelmed! Hang in there! We are getting the abang specialists from Jabatan Perhilitan to rescue you!”
“To all passengers at KLIA T1, our airport team is on ground to monitor the situation. Please stay calm and do not worry. Help is on the way for our little lost friend.”
In another post, they revealed that the monkey has since been captured by an officer from Perhilitan and that it has been released back into the wild where it can be reunited with its troop.
“Our furry friend has been saved! Thank you abang Perhilitan for being heroes of the day! This little guy can now go home to his family safely. What an adventure he must have had. Many thanks to the airport team too for staying vigilant and ensuring the safety of passengers throughout the commotion,” they added.
We’re so happy that the little monkey has been safely returned back to the forest where it can safely swing from tree to tree.
