BLACKPINK’s Jisoo attended the “Snowdrop” press conference which was held on Thursday (16/12) today. On that occasion, he revealed his reason for choosing “Snowdrop” as his debut drama.

“Snowdrop” is a romantic drama that takes place in Seoul in 1987. The story focuses on the emotional love story of a pair of college students named Su Ho (Jung Hae In) and Young Ro (Jisoo).

Su Ho is described as an elite student who suddenly appears at the Women’s University dormitory injured. He is then helped and hidden by Young Ro, who is one of the dormitory students.

First of all, Jisoo revealed her reason for starring in this drama. He said, “I received and read the script before the audition and I thought the character Young Ro was very bright and attractive. I thought it would be nice to be able to share such bright energy with people.”

However, because this is her debut drama, Jisoo was nervous just before filming. He said, “I think because it’s my first role, I’m really nervous and worried.”

“But when I arrived on set, I felt like I had become Young Ro. Everyone also took good care of me, so I thought I was filming well,” he said.

In addition, Jisoo also revealed the attention shown by Jung Hae In during their filming. Thanks to that, he was able to film smoothly without any major problems.

Jisoo explained, “Maybe because Jung Hae In had the most scenes with me, he always took care of me and gave advice about his character. We always discussed how to portray each scene and make it happen.”

“Also, all the seniors on the set always monitor the scene with me and give me a lot of tips. So I think I’m filming while learning a lot,” concluded the 1995-born idol.

Meanwhile, “Snowdrop” is prepared to replace the broadcast slot of “Inspector Koo” on JTBC’s Saturday – Sunday night. The plan, the drama, which also stars Kim Hye Yoon, will start airing on December 18. (wk/eval)
