Cafe Lee Hyori and husband apologize for paralyzing the area around

Not long after opening, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon’s cafe said it was temporarily closed because the opening day was flooded with fans, which paralyzed the surrounding area.

Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon recently opened a cafe. Just two days open, this celebrity couple’s cafe closed its business temporarily and changed the reservation system.

On July 2, Longplay Jeju Cafe quickly made a post via its official Instagram. The cafe apologized after a long line appeared and caused some customers to go home disappointed because the raw materials ran out.

“Many people came to Longplay today. They waited a long time in the hot weather, there were also those who returned home because we ran out of ingredients and couldn’t accept more customers,” said the cafe manager.

Despite all that, cafe Lee Hyori and husband are grateful for the enthusiasm of customers. For that, they changed the cafe system to be more organized.

“Thank you very much and we apologize. Because we were worried it would cause inconvenience to nearby residents, we decided to operate through the reservation system for now,” he continued.

The cafe management promised to provide the latest developments regarding this situation. For the time being, the Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon cafe was closed for one day on Sunday (3/7).

“We ask for your understanding and first of all, we will take a break tomorrow (July 3) to reorganize. When the reservation system is introduced, we will first notify you via our Instagram account. Again, we apologize and thank you. Longplay Coffee & Music,” they concluded.

In South Korea, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon’s cafes have become a hot topic of word of mouth. So anticipated, on the opening day the crowds of visitors paralyzed nearby areas.

Opened in Dongbok-ri, Gujwa-eup, Jeju, this cafe stands out with its modern interior. Lee Sang Soon made his own coffee, and Lee Hyori served it. So no wonder this place became a sensation.

Meanwhile, Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon have been married since 2013. Recently, Lee Hyori appeared on TVING’s “Seoul Check-In” while Lee Sang Soon on JTBC’s “New Festa”. (wk/inta)
